With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Nell Rushing of Bogalusa, Louisiana, born in Long Beach, Mississippi, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Neil Rushing; her parents, Wiley Wascom and Ludie Mae Wascom; and her siblings, James "Jimmy" Roberts, John Roberts, Frances Gill, Mildred Krohn, Edna Mae Krohn, Anna Woodcock and Sarah Barnes.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Rushing of Bogalusa and Reid Rushing (Dawn); her granddaughters, Mandy Gregory (Kevin) of Hattiesburg, MS and Natalie Stringer (Garrett) of Hattiesburg; her great grandchildren, Deacon Gregory and Maren Gregory; and her siblings, Laura Cain and Tommy Roberts. She is also survived by two sons, two granddaughters, a great-grandson, and a great- granddaughter.
