She was predeceased by: her sons, Jerry Whitehead and Samuel "S. W." Whitehead; her parents, Clifford Bounds and Charlene Bounds; her granddaughter Charlen Whitehead; and her siblings, Edward Bounds, Debra Bounds, Carolyn Bounds and Virginia Burch.
She is survived by: her husband Randall Riley; her children, Diamond Whitehead Taylor and Dillard "Laquin" Whitehead; her grandchildren, Aschine Polk, Delilah Polk, Amy Woodward, Markeal Tyler, Mia Tyler and Nathan Whitehead; her great grandchildren, Alexis Smith and Miranda Smith; and her brothers, Wendall Bounds and Nolan Bounds.
