He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cocherell and Lona Adkinson. He is survived by: his wife Fay Perry Cocherell; his daughters, Shelia Taylor, Cindy Meshell (Lynn) and Jackie Rabo (John); and his siblings, Drucilla Ferguson, Charlie Cocherell and McDade Cocherell. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
