He was predeceased by: his father David Semon; his grandparents, Katherine Reeves, Ray Duke and James Reeves; his uncles, Dennis Duke and John Duke; and his cousin Stacey Heable.
He is survived by: his mother Paula Duke (Diane Boise); his sister Melinda Kuzmak Carlson (Chris) of Connecticut; his niece Marin Carlson of England; and his aunts, Michele Johnson (Mark), Nelwyn Talley (Andy), Regina Pahal (Jim) and Glinda Duke. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
