He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Austin W. Hardaway and Hallie Keesee Hardaway; his siblings, Dempsey Hardaway and Virginia Hardaway Adkins; his half-brother Austin W. Hardaway, Jr.; his stepmother Sybil Hardaway; his wife Dorothy Scotto Hardaway; his sons, Glenn (Monica), Ricky (J'Leene) and Bob (Tina); his grandchildren, Steve (Ashley), Jessica, Julie, Allyson, Stephanie, Greg, Michael, Brooke, Brittany, Austin and Audrey; and his aunt Rachel Keesee Gammon of Danville, Virginia. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Bethany Baptist Church, Tunnel for Towers or a charity of your choice.
