He was predeceased by: his parents, Sergin Joseph Sampey, Sr. and Ludia Louviere Sampey; and his wife Janet Claire Green. He is survived by: his children, Anne Mary Doss (David), Tony Sampey (Lauren) and David Sampey (Brandie); his siblings, Sergin Joseph "SJ" Sampey, Jr. (Priscilla), Patsy Mann, Colleen Orgeron (Doug) and William Peter Sampey; his grandchildren, Julie, Jennifer Doss, Channing, Cailin, Cade, Caroline, Lilly, Ava and Charlotte Sampey; and his great grandchild Waylon Sampey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (3217 2nd St, Berwick, LA 70342). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Berwick Cemetery.
