We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mittie Hickman Andrews (Bernice, Louisiana), born in Rodessa, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha D. Hickman and Julia Smith Hickman; her husband C. W. Andrews; and her siblings, Billie Smith, O. D. "Bud" Hickman, William Gary Hickman and Morris Grady Hickman.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Andrews (Marjorie) of Benton, KY, Marie "Nan" Stephens (David) of Bernice, LA and Genieve "Gennie" Ashy (Danny) of Pineville, LA; and her grandchildren, Kaycee York (Brian), Jacqueline Woolfolk (Ryan), Russell Stephens (Amber), Amanda Warden (Steve), Kimberly Ashy and Andrew Ashy. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers honoring Mittie, her family suggests memorials be made to Weldon Cemetery Fund.
