He was predeceased by: his parents, John Newton and Lida Reynolds Bowen of Bernice, LA.; and his siblings, Monelle Bowen McCallum and Jimmy Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Denham Bowen; his daughters, Terrill Bowen Coggins (Tim) and Johna Bowen Barnette (Steve); his stepson Geoffery Deason (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Khaki Coggins Wiygul (Henry), Navy Coggins, Jordan Spells Adkins (Josh), Connor Kelley and Alyssa Deason. He is also survived by His great-grandchildren.
