We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Edna Gertrude Allen of Bernice, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Allen; her parents, Patrick Goodrum and Alice Ivey Goodrum; her daughter Anita; her son-in-law James Cook; her brother Max E. Goodrum; and her great grandchild Haley Renea Dupree.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delene O'Rear (Mike), Rhonda Lewis and Renea King (Otis); and her grandchildren, Steven Ellis (Sherri), Alisha Simonson, Thomas Cook (Shirley), Christy Davidson (Gary) and Seth King (Jolie). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to Shiloh Cemetery Fund, in care of Shiloh Baptist Church.
