He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Prudhomme and Maxine Prudhomme of Cedar Bend; his wife Ruth A Prudhomme; his children, Sarah Oubre (Alex), Jenny L. Schattschneider (Michael), Nathaniel Severin (Brittany), Nigel Severin (Hillary), Nicholas Severin (Jolie) and Michael Harper; his grandchildren, Brianna Prudhomme, Noah, Kyleigh, Preston, Jackson, Mila, Harper, Knox, Eva, Nicholas Severin and Coledyn; and his siblings, Lee Vickers, AngelaTaylor (Bob), Johnny Prudhomme (Pat), Luanne Terry and Clare Trichel (Dewayne). He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews and dearest friends.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Joey's legacy, the family is establishing the William Joseph "Joey" Prudhomme fund at CHRISTUS Foundation Shreveport-Bossier to thank the CPCU care team and future teams, reminding them that their hard work, dedication and loving care will not be forgotten.
