He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse F. Fain and Clemmie Adams Fain; his former wife Dorothy Sistrunk Fain; his son Roger Fain; and his siblings, Wilbur Fain, Dorfus Fain, Marie Plank, Ann McGary, Hazel Beard, Robert Fain and Jean Humphries.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Perry Ramsey Fain; his daughter Kimberly Harper (Scott); his stepchildren, Richard P. Ramsey and Juli Ramsey Campbell; his granddaughters, Jordan White (Cameron) and Cameron Harper; and his great grandchildren, Colson Samuel White and Harper Caroline White.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Gladney Foundation, Brookwood Baptist Church Choir, and The American Cancer Society.
