Matt Cooley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matt Cooley of Benton, Louisiana, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Echols and Ida Bell Cooley; his brothers, Johnny Cooley and Bill Cooley; and his cousin Barbara Jean Simms.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Lynn Cooley; and his children, Bucky Cooley (Terri), Lynea, Jeremy Watts (Leslie) and Sunny Lynn Smith (Bryan). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
