It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Franklin Zey of Benton, Louisiana, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Zey and Alene Zey; and his daughter Cheryl Lynn Zey. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie; his children, Elizabeth Prater (Keith) and David Zey (Rebecca Zey); his grandchildren, Cori Meredith (Blake), Colton Prater, Lynnse Hyde (Ben), Kaliegh Zey, Dawson Zey, McKenzie Beck, Riley Zey and Hayden Zey; his great grandchild Annie Foster Hyde; and his siblings, Mary Zey, Betty McClung, Joyce Dowies, Jim Zey and Rose Butcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St Jude Catholic Church of Benton Louisiana, 4700 Palmetto Rd., Benton, Louisiana 71006, or a charity of one's choice.
