He is survived by: his wife Helen Beeson Nichols of Bentley; his children, Joe Nichols (Amy) of Baker and Tonya Nichols of Tallahassee, Florida; his grandchildren, Paige, Chantel, Monica, William and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Amara, Aurora, Tyler, Ethan and MacKenzie; his brother Richard Nichols (Annis) of New Mexico; and his nephews, Gerald Pruitt and EJ Nichols.
