He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Mitchell Howard and Annie Ophelia Howard (Campbell); and his sister Imogene Morrissey. He is survived by: his wife Melva Howard of Belmont, LA; his son Doug Howard (Olivia) of Belmont, LA; his grandchildren, Justice Howard of Zwolle, LA, Christian Howard of Zwolle, LA, Camden Howard of Belmont, LA, Cade Howard of Zwolle, LA, Addison Burr of Zwolle, LA, Justin Harrell of Belmont, LA and Jordyn Liles of Belmont, LA; his great grandchild Haigen Austin of Zwolle, LA; and his cousin Bill Howard of Belmont, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clara Springs Baptist Encampment or Toledo Bend Baptist Ministries.
