She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Beulah Russell; her husband Garland Zane Salter; her children, Garland Chris Salter, Sharon Salter Brock, Karen Kaye Salter, Kimberly Salter Auld and Bradley Cade Salter; her children-in-law, Eva Leone Salter, Bobbie Jo Terrell Salter and John Wesley Auld; her grandchildren, John Wesley "Trey" Auld III, Christopher Kyle Salter (Dena), Julian Cade Salter, Karly Kaye Brock, Tiffany Auld Short (Travis), Bradley Chance Salter (Kelly), Tyler Zane Auld and Kacie Brown; her great grandchildren, Wesley Hayes, Christopher Cohen, Caleb Zane, Kaylyn Camille, William Zane, Harlow Rose, Parker Hayes, Noah Wesley, Easton Travis and Levi Spencer; her caregivers, Cathy Carhee Ford, Mattie Williams, Jennifer Gorum and Justina Terrell; and also Nanette Bienvenu. She was also cherished by cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
