He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Meshell and Evelyn Meshell (Sepulvado); his wife Margie Meshell; his son Jimmy Ebarb; and his siblings, Dewit Meshell, Sammy Meshell, Wayne Meshell and Mary Jane Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Ebarb (Michelle) of Groveton, TX, Link Meshell (Sue Ann) of Groveton, TX, Lori Mahan (Rodney) of Nacogdoches, TX, Nina Meshell of Lufkin, TX and Brett Meshell (Cindy) of Belmont, LA; and his siblings, Belva Jean LeBlanc (Leroy) of Corrigan, TX and Clayton Meshell (Barbara) of Splendora, TX. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
