She is survived by: her children, Huey George Freeman, Ann Neely (Thomas), Shirley Jones (Kerry), Stacey Kareem, Rose Freeman (Larry), Lenora Carter (Welton, Jr.) and Jada Gaspard (Manuel, Jr.); and her siblings, Harvey, Carrol Murphy, Mary Dunmiles and Dorothy Thompson (JC, Sr.). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
