He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Dominique and Joseph Mitchell; and his sisters, Elsie Harris and Laura Bell. He is survived by: his wife June Julien Mitchell; his children, Stanley Mitchell, Jr. (Tanesha), Ricky Mitchell (Shantell), Rodney Mitchell (Chris) and Katherine M. Burris (Brandon); and his sister Theresa Fleming (Charles). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
