He is survived by: his children, Charles Lewis III (Anita) of Dorseyville, LA, Chastity Lewis-Carcisse of Dorseyville, LA, Anita Johnson (Wendell) of Bertrandville, LA and Joyce Oubre, Sr. (Gary Wayne) of St. Gabriel, LA.; his siblings, Eva (Manuel), Rodrigue, Honoray Lewis (Jerilyn), Donald Lewis (Rosalie), Melanie Belt (Charles), Bruce Lewis, Glenn Lewis, Greg Lewis and Catherine Lewis; his siblings-in-law, Josephine Lewis, Marion Williams, Audrey McKnight, Lena Jupiter, Gloria Daniels, Gail Snell, Ricky Holmes (Angela) and Henry Holmes; his aunts, Marion Griffin and Levarne Becnel; and his goddaughter Charlotte Belt. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
