It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Dorthia Weary (Belle Rose, Louisiana), who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Bell Wilson Sr. and Ernest Wilson Jr.; her brother Reginald "Ray" Wilson; her grandparents, Eddie, Flora Bell, Ernest and Louise Wilson Sr.; her godmother Linda Bell; and her nephews, Charles Myles Jr. and A'mon Price.
She is survived by: her siblings, Melanie Myles of Angleton, TX, Carlise Harthorne (Bryan) of Donaldsonville, LA. and Edward Wilson Sr. (Jennifer) of Donaldsonville, LA.; her foster sister Terean Simon of Bertrandville, LA.; her aunts, Flora Mae Anderson of Memphis, TN, Theresa Breaux Bell of Belle Rose, LA, Rena Mae Wilson of Donaldsonville, LA, Aline Thomas of Donaldsonville, LA and Geraldine Patterson of Chicago; her uncle Roland Wilson Sr. of Chicago; her siblings-in-law, Veronica Wilson of Darrow, LA. and Charles Myles Sr. of Belle Rose, LA.; her godchildren, Carlise Hathorn, Kayla Bell, Shanna Linton and Brionca Bougere; and her friend Carnel Coleman. She is also survived by 6 Nieces, 4 Nephews, 3 Great-Nieces and 6 Great-Nephews.
