She is survived by: her parents, Iris Rachel Merrick and Ronald Cunningham, Sr.; her husband Bobby Gerald Powell; her children, Unique St. Ann, Malik Merrick (Brooke), Kierra Thompson, Sr. (Daesean), Breyahn, Sara and Kimani Powell; her grandchildren, Myles, Maisyn Merrick, Karlie, Daesean Thompson, Jr. and Brynleigh Davis; and her aunt Merlisha Merrick. She is also survived by her siblings, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
