He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivia Bartholomew and Herbert Bartholomew Jr.; his siblings, Benjamin, Doris, Glynn, Dwight and Ralph; and his grandson Adrian.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Darren Bartholomew Sr. (Tremica), Suzanne Tierney Carter (Glenn Sr.), Marla Scott (Allen Jr.) and Michelle Riggins (Bryan); his brother Herbert Bartholomew III; his grandchildren, Darren Bartholomew Jr., Glenn Carter Jr., Darion Bartholomew, Ryann Bartholomew, Tre'Shonya Howard, Steffone Howard (Briarra), Z'aire Howard, Ainsley Scott and Aubrey Scott; his godchildren, Michael Simmons, Pam Johnson, Shamere DeMolle and David Franks; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard, Danny, Allen Sr., Villere III, Orbon Sr., Sophie, Sharon, Julie, Devonya and Jimmienell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
