With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Scott Bernert in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 45. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francis "Fuzzy" Bernert (Dorothy "Dot" Artman) and Hubert Harr (Phylene Melvin); and his sweet Jack Russell (Izzabel). He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Bernert and Letha Bernert; his daughter Cheye'anne Rivet of Mandeville, LA; his sisters, Kelly Blair of Belle Chasse, LA, Dawn Deyo (Dave) of Grove City, OH and Mindy Gough (Kelly) of Belle Chasse, LA.; and his nephews, Steven Blair (Madelaine), Zachary Blair, Aaron Deyo, Zane Deyo, Nathan Curliss and Bryce Curliss. He is also survived by 3 aunts and uncles and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robinson Family Funeral Home (9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 8968 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037.
