With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Scott Bernert in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 45. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francis "Fuzzy" Bernert (Dorothy "Dot" Artman) and Hubert Harr (Phylene Melvin); and his sweet Jack Russell (Izzabel). He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Bernert and Letha Bernert; his daughter Cheye'anne Rivet of Mandeville, LA; his sisters, Kelly Blair of Belle Chasse, LA, Dawn Deyo (Dave) of Grove City, OH and Mindy Gough (Kelly) of Belle Chasse, LA.; and his nephews, Steven Blair (Madelaine), Zachary Blair, Aaron Deyo, Zane Deyo, Nathan Curliss and Bryce Curliss. He is also survived by 3 aunts and uncles and several cousins.
