She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Mayes (Pete) and Elsie Jane Mayes (Pouncey); her brothers, Clarence and Robert; and her grandson Spencer.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald R. Ardoin; her sons, Rod Ardoin (Nanette), Mitchell Ardoin (Cheryl) and Byron Ardoin (Irena); her sister Jean Richards; and her grandchildren, Hannah Avery, Mary Ardoin, Melinda San Juan, Duwayne Abston, Daniel Abston, Austyn Ardoin, Chelsea Ardoin, Brennan Ardoin and Simon Vasilevicius.
