He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallie Belk and Zack Belk; his brother Joe Belk; his wife Lillian Pearl Needham Belk; his children, Steven Roy Belk and Margie Belk Anderson; his grandchildren, Kristin Belk and Drew Small; and his sister-in-law Janie Needham Holt.
He is survived by: his daughter Peggy Belk Milligan (Keith); his grandchildren, Katie Milligan Maglone (Noah), Mandy Milligan Roan (Amado), John Milligan, Steven Belk (John) and Rebekka Belk (Brad); his daughter-in-law Martha Belk; his daughters, Beth Remillard (Scott) and Carrie Ann Restel (Damon); his brothers-in-law, James Needham (Barbara) and James Holt; and his niece Sherri Soignier. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
