It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Bennies Allen of Beekman, Louisiana, born in Oak Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Worley Allen and Robert Trenton Allen; his sons, Calvin Bennies Allen, Jr., Melvin Wayne Hunter and Jamie Holland Hunter; and his siblings, Gloria Jean Lair, Clara Allen, Charlie Allen, Willie Allen, Odis Allen, Elton Allen, Marvin Allen and Horace Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Jean Allen; his children, Robert Joe Allen (Laura), Laura Ann Taylor and Tammy Gail Allen; and his siblings, Mary Davis, Rev. Otha Allen, James E. Allen and Bobby Ray Allen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
