She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore J. Volk and Mary Ellen Muldowney Volk; her granddaughters, Megan Smith and Kay LaPlace; and her great grandchild Joseph Aubert Painter.
She is survived by: her spouse Lieutenant; her children, Jovita Ferrell of Hammond, LA, Karen LaPlace (J. J.) of St. Gabriel, LA, Noel Troxclair, Jr. of Uvalde, TX and Mignon Painter (John) of Smiths, AL; and her grandchildren, Kristina LaCaze, Andrea Stein, David Smith Pat II, Ferrell, Jason LaPlace, Stuart LaPlace, Mary Ellen LaPlace-Ile, Nicholas LaPlace, Caneel Cardwell, Caleb Troxclair, Caitlin Landry, Kelli Towers, Kati Tillman and John Christopher Painter. She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions, no visitation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, Noel requested donations be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society or a charity of your choice.
