She was predeceased by: her mother Erline Short; and her brother Stephen Short. She is survived by: her husband Junius "Baba" Verret Sr.; and her children, Junius S. Verret Jr., Clorissa V. Caillouet (Chet), Steven Verret (Serina), Terissa Boquet (Kurt) and Danny J. Verret. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
