He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Louis, Cinderella Pinell Blanchard and George Brunet; his uncles, Melvin and Ricky Brunet; and his great-grandparents, Bruce John, Agnes Dupre Pinell, Alton and Walterine Hebert Fonseca.
He is survived by: his mother Tammy Blanchard Pitre; his parent-in-law Kerry Pitre; his father Randy Paul Brunet; his siblings, Kirk Blanchard (Haley), Jesse Brunet and Jamie Brunet; his nephews, Connor, Casen Blanchard and Bowie Thibodeaux; his grandparents, Gloria and Jack Morris; his aunt Dixie; his uncles, Brian Rothrock and Louis A. Blanchard II; and his pet Franco.
In lieu of plants and flowers, the family requests donations be given to them directly to help with Rick's medical expenses.
