She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Joseph Marcel and Mae Mary Marcel; her stepfather Edward "Fish" Poiencot; her daughter Melissa Marcel; her siblings, Aaron, Ranzel, Elmer Eugene (E. J.), Ray and Betty Jane; and her stepsisters, Vera Mae Dupre, Geraldine, Shirley and Betty Poiencot.
She is survived by: her husband George Paul Bergeron; her children, Enas "Bozo" Kershaw, Jr. and Michelle Bergeron; and her stepdaughter Andrea Bergeron. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.
