She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Samanie and Rose Marie Samanie of Bayou Blue; her siblings, Marion Samanie Zeringue and Clay Martin Samanie; her son-in-law Mike Voisin; and her husband Dimetri Primeaux.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Herbert Theriot and Anthony "Tony" Carter; and her children, Sarah Theriot Voisin, Burt Paul Theriot (Dana), Alice Theriot Naquin (Yogi) and Carol Carter Windham (Bill). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine Marie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 1, 1940, to Lionel and Rose Marie Samanie of Bayou Blue, Louisiana and passed on Tuesday September 28, 2021, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
