It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Thibodaux (Bayou Blue, Louisiana), who passed away on August 23, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Herbert "Herbie" Thibodaux, Jr.; his parents, Mack A. Thibodaux and Emma Prevost Thibodaux; and his siblings, Sadie Marie Thibodaux of Julie Lirette, Eddie Thibodaux and Ambrose A. Thibodaux.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hidalgo Thibodaux; his daughters, Heather Lynn Thibodaux and Angel D. Robichaux; his siblings, Lillian T. Firmature, Bernita T. Guidry, Gayle T. Naquin, Jeannie T. Carrere, Susan T. Gautreaux and Albert P. Thiboduax; and his grandchildren, Kyle Robichaux, Jayce Thibodaux, Irvin Alvis and Jaylynn Thibodaux.
