With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dewey Sonier of Bayou Blue, Louisiana, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Cheryl Sonier; his parents, Herman J. Sonier and Rita Dupre Sonier; and his son-in-law Dukin "Butch" Arceneaux Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Saucier Sonier; his daughters, Roxanne Leonard (Thomas), JoAnn Sonier, Elizabeth Boquet (Patrick) and Patti Matherne (Tom); and his pet Lil Bit. He is also survived by one brother; three sisters; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
