She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Belona Franklin; her son-in-law Rodney Franklin; her son Byron Belona; her daughter-in-law Ila Belona; her grandchildren, Rodrick Franklin and Mesha Franklin Hunter; her grandsons-in-law, David Hunter (Brooklyn Belona) and Isaac Belona (Bella Belona); her great grandchildren, Iyanna Franklin, Mia Hunter and David Hunter; and her sisters, Lois Adebamiji, Vanessa Lafayette and Ramona Matthews. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home (1553 Wooddale Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806).
