It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ursula Bogan Carmena of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Anthony Bogan, Sr. and Ethel LeBlanc Bogan; and her siblings, Robert A. Bogan, Jr., Elizabeth Ann Bogan and Mary Delle Bogan Gerald.
She is survived by: her husband John N. "Jack" Carmena; her children, John N. "Jay" Carmena Jr. of Destin, FL, Julia Carmena Jewell (J. Rohlf Jewell) of Houston, TX, Sara Carmena McMichael (Randy McMichael) of Minden, LA and Eleanor Carmena Joffrion (Russ Joffrion); and her grandchildren, Mason Paul Joffrion, Catherine Michelle Jewell, John Riley Joffrion and John Philibert Jewell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
