She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest M. Powell and Maude Adams Powell; and her sisters, Martha Elaine Powell of Lakeland, FL. and Janet Powell Lowery of Lakeland, FL.. She is survived by: her husband Richard R. Cecil of Mulberry; and her children, Sara, Benjamin and Jonathan. She is also survived by extended family members and the many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lighthouse Ministries of Lakeland, to the ASPCA, or to the Nature Conservancy.
