It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Crane Zito (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), born in Livingston, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Crane and Almeta Loftis Crane; her husband Joseph V. Zito; and her siblings, Mary Culbreath, Norma Mayeaux, Hilda Hall, Jane Lister, Albert Crane and Gene Crane.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Zito (Cindy), Don Zito (Lenau), Nancy Zito Anderson (Steve) and Ken Zito (Ashley); her grandchildren, Brad, Matthew Zito, Jackie Ponder, Jennifer Randall, Bryan Zito, Colby and Myles Zito; her great grandchildren, Parker Zito, Caroline, Noah, Benjamin Ponder, Cecilia Randall and Emma Kate Zito; her sister Bonnie Sykes; and her sister-in-law Rosalie Moak. She is also survived by her sons, grandsons, and son-in-law.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cypress Springs Mercedarian Prayer or St. Vincent de Paul.
