Robert Joe Samuel Dundy Jr. Obituary

With the heaviest of hearts, we are sad to announce that the earth has lost another beautiful soul. Robert Joe Samuel Dundy Jr, commonly known as “Toodie”, of St Gabriel, Louisiana has gained his heavenly wings. He was only 25 years old. As we turn the last page of Toodie’s story, we pray that he has found peace. We pray his family & his fiancé find peace, acceptance, & comfort during this difficult time. Though we may never know why these things happen or what we are intended to learn, we can only hope that what they say is true- that your loved ones always stay with you, even when they are gone. I pray, Toodie, that you are here with all of us now. I pray you guide us through & help us find a purpose, especially your fiancé, without you. We will all keep your memory & your spirit alive forever.

If only I’d have hugged you a little tighter, I’m sorry I didn’t, I just thought that I’d see you again.

Thank you to everyone who is able to join us to celebrate Robert’s life. We love him. We will miss him beyond words. May his soul rest in paradise.

“You were one in a billion. As soon as I met you, I knew you were my person & that you’d change my life forever. So beyond thankful for the “X” tattoos we both got on our wedding fingers- we had just spoken on the phone a few days ago & you’d mentioned you got yours re-done so it wouldn’t fade. I did the same. A reminder of how much I love you. Please help me to find my purpose here without you. My heart aches for you. See you soon, my love. Please wait for me.”
