He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernis Joseph "Powee" Broussard and Mary Carrie "Peenie" Kleinpeter of Baton Rouge; and his grandparents, C. J., Salome Broussard of Crowley and Leon.
He is survived by: his cousin Kleinpeter Farms Dairy; his wife Kathy Raymond Broussard; his daughters, Carrie Broussard and Katie Broussard Reulet; his grandchildren, Davie, Maggie, Elsie and Klein Reulet; his siblings, Daniel (Jennifer), V. J. (DeeAnn) and Frances Jean Broussard; and his parents-in-law, Kenny, Charlene Raymond, Bill and Janet Gremillion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
