She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Schutte, Sr.; her parents, Oscar J. Mouton Sr. and Ondine Bourgeois Mouton; her children, Catherine Marie Schutte and Richard P. Schutte; her great grandchildren, Kathryn Rebecca Schutte and Luke Landis Esecson; and her siblings, Charles A. Mouton, Oscar J. Mouton, Jr., John Vincent Mouton, Cecile Mouton Gaubert, Mildred Mouton Labbe and Doris Mouton Guidry.

She is survived by: her children, Charles A. Schutte, Jr. (Jeannine), Dr. Michael J. Schutte (Mary Jo), Dr. John P. Schutte (Mary), Dr. Robert J. Schutte (Micheline), Joan S. McAuliffe and Mary Anne S. Toledano (Chuck); and her grandson Michael.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
