He is survived by: his sister Carol Christian Sorey (Danny); his nieces and nephews, Dan Sorey (Julie), Doug Sorey (LeeAnn), Jessica Sorey Taylor (Codey), Jonathan Sorey and Parker Sorey; his aunt Charlotte Ann Sims; his cousins, Eddy Sims (Robert Bernard), Ann Sims Fields (Mark) and Tommy Sims (Kathy); and also, Eliza Jean Taylor and Olivia Grace Taylor.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Rayville (507 Foster St, Rayville, LA 71269). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (2413 US-425, Rayville, LA 71269).
