She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Settoon and Mitchell Settoon; and her sister Nelda Jane Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Jack J. Cristina, Jr.; her children, Dawn Cristina Houston (Mundy) and Chad Cristina (Amy); and her grandchildren, Austin Cristina, Brock Houston, Brady Houston, Jules Grace Cristina and Jack Cristina.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70817). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
