It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Storey Walter (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Mae Storey and Lesley Gilliam Storey; and her husband Gerald Lewis Walter, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Walter Carver (David), Gerald "Jerry" Walter III and Hollie Walter Chitty (Marc); and her grandchildren, Taylor Carver (Katherine), Ashley Carver Meredith (Mitchell), Storey Carver Rotert (Will), Laura Walter, Hope Walter, Kate Walter, Hunter Chitty (Sadie), Sarah Chitty, Luke Chitty and Sam Chitty.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (763 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
