With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Richards of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elmer Richards and Polly Verona Sams Richards; his sister Jacqueline Richards Pagan; his brother-in-law Roy Pagan; and his parents-in-law, Allen Walsh and Louise Walsh.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Richards; his children, Ken Richards (Beth), Tim Richards (Tonda), Jill Richards Kalimeris (Andreas), Becky Richards Hearn (Darrel) and Meg Richards Gerald (Don); and his grandchildren, Tanner Richards (Taylor), Reeves Richards (Maritza), Tarin Richards Worrest (Alan), Tyler Richards, Tessa Richards, Walsh Hearn (Sarah), Will Hearn, Megan Hearn Rhyne (Matt), Rainey Gerald and Fallon Gerald Tullier (Devin). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge.
