She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Christensen and Edythe Christensen; her son Nels Christian Kjeldsen; and her niece Barbara Jo Patterson. She is survived by: her great-nephew Erik Kjeldsen of Baton Rouge; her grandson Christian Bates Kjeldsen (Hannah Kjeldsen) of Cheshire Connecticut; her sisters, Susan Converse (Ron), Martha Christensen and Sally Spear; her nephews, Scott Patterson, Mitch Larsen and David Rozmarin (Jenna); her daughter-in-law Monica Bates Kjeldsen-Strunk (Erich) of Cheshire Connecticut; and also Nels "Doc" Kjeldsen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (15160 S Harrells Ferry Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70816). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
