It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Grace McCarty of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Marion, Louisiana, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kleber S. Thompson and Margaret E. Thompson; her husband Marvin R. McCarty; her sister Pat Thompson Brooks; and her son-in-law Robert M. Rosenthal.
She is survived by: her daughters, SuSu Rosenthal of Baton Rouge and Kathy Drake; her son-in-law Ken Drake of Greenville, SC.; her grandchildren, Mark Sam Rosenthal of Los Angeles, CA, Scott Rosenthal (Mia Rosenthal) of Philadelphia, PA, Maggie Holmes (Spencer Holmes) of Greenville, SC and Mary Elizabeth Drake of New York, NY.; her great grandchildren, Kirby Rosenthal, Marion Rosenthal, Evelyn Holmes and Audrey Holmes; and also Leslie Jager. She is also survived by her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
