We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Lynnette C. Wise of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Patterson, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Wise Boudreaux and James Hosmer Wise; her stepfather Darryl Boudreaux; her sister Eugenie Ann Wise Boulet; her brother-in-law Robert Boulet; and her nephew Clayton Boulet.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Patricia Boulet Fontenot (Kim), Beth Boulet, Keith Boulet (Roland) and Leonard Boulet; her great-niece Maureen Boulet; and her great-nephew Samuel Boulet.

In lieu of flowers or plants for the service, the family would like donations made to the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine or Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge.

“I have tremendous respect for Ms Wise. I did not have her as a math teacher at Chalmette High. But I was a member of the Cheerleading squad she sponsored. Being somewhat rebellious of her strong hand, I did not truly appreciate her wisdom and counsel until years after graduation. I'm sure that was my loss. But time has allowed me to recognize her as a teacher of much more than math. She will be missed by many. God Bless her! Al Claude III”
