She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon, Sr. Wilson and Lucille Wilson; and her brothers, Gregory A. Wilson and Leon A. Wilson, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister LaWanda Wilson-Penton; and her stepgrandmother Evelyn Rudison. She is also survived by two nephews, three nieces, eight great-nieces & nephews, and two Goddaughters.

A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 5045 Greenwell St, Baton Rouge, LA 70805.
