With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loleita Mae Ordon of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel Ordon and Emma B. Ordon; her boyfriend John Ford Sr.; her son Johnny Ordon; her siblings, Plassie Ordon, Margie Stewart (Ordon), Yvonne Diaz (Ordon) and Iola Alexis (Ordon); and her grandchildren, Johnny Price and Jahiem Ordon.
She is survived by: her children, Shelita Doyle (Daron Sr), Lolita Ordon, Emma Dupre (Jarrell), Charlene McCaster and Martha Ordon; her stepson John Ford Jr.; and her siblings, Emanuel Ordon Jr., Henry Ordon, Mary Ann Williams (McGinnis), Virgie Lee Ordon, Iona Johnson (Ordon) and Leonna Ann Parker (Ordon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
